@djimindy said it was available but its not available in US either.

It's working - i successfully downloaded and installed GO4 v4.2.20 on my Crystalsky. (Jul 12, 2018 - 20:15 MEST)

Yes, I could also download it and install it.
It is working ok so far I can see.

I found a new option: if you do a factory reset, it will go back to the previous version .16.
Maybe I was "lucky", maybe you can now always go back to the previous version or at least for a test-period. So I had to install the update again.

DJI should communicate better to us about the things you build in and the fixes you do.
Do we have a rollback option in the factory-reset ?

To those, who already tested

1. Is the compass still jumping?
2. What about lag?
3. What about choppy video feed and pixelation?
4. If the factory reset is done, only the dji go4 is restored to 4.2.16 and the CS firmware  remains with the latest version, or everything goes back?
5. If the CE to FCC is forced, does the app still offers to change the region or cancel?

Any other issue noticed?

I fly with the OTG and the CS5.5, so far I know there are also two different pieces of software.
So, what is for the CS5.5 could be different for the CS7.8.
And what kind of drone you fly.

I think it is not good to make one general Go4 for every drone type.
If they got a new drone in, we all suffer from the software bugs.
I think they are very busy with the Go4 update for the new mavic...

Thank You. So nothing to update. Looks like the lag and choppy video  are coming from interaction of Mavic Air 0400 firmware with CS code. Because when tested my both 5.5 CS and 7.85 Ultra CS with the Spark - there is no such problem

So what is really good now with CS, that is the CS firmware update is separated from DJI GO4 updates! Thank You DJI !
If you go now in CS settings ( without entering DJI GO4) and ask to check for updates, you'll get the answer, that there are no updates atm.
But if you enter DJI GO4 and there ask for updates, you will be offered to update to 4.2.20. Excellent.
Now DJI has to provide us with access to different DJI GO4 versions to let us select the best version matching our setup

Good as well that i took a plunge and updated CS 7.85" Ultra  from 4.2.16 to 4.2.20. That awful video feed choppy and fragmentation practically gone and i can fly again. Not sure it is the result of matter fixed
by DJI or it was simply the lucky app upgrade. Not sure, but it seems, that compass arrow are jumping a little bit less. The CS firmware version as i told remains the same. And CS keeps FCC mode.
So altogether, for me. it is a very successful update.

It is good to hear that video feed for your Mavic Air is a lot better.

About the compass :
I did find out that the compass does works better if you keep the monitor horizontal.
So, if I want to know the orientation of the drone I keep CS for a moment horizontal (flat).
It works for me, I hope this will help you too.

Thank you for that hint, I shall try it. Still it should work in all positions or have the option to switch off the CS compass.

I have just tried to install DJI GO 4 version 4.2.21 manually on the CS, this still does not work. Thus it can only be updated through the app itself which already is a big progress. Now I am curious for the next firmware update which can be expected soon I believe.

Followed instructions from other thread (Jumping Compass) and updated to v4.2.20.
No flight test as of moment.  Need to calibrate Compasses.  Check settings.

This doesn't surprise me. It is clearly not an app issue but CS firmware related. I hope they'll manage to fix it with the next firmware for CS.

Mavic Pro appears to hover fine, little bit of movement from very slight wind when hovering about 5-feet off ground.  Needs a full flight test.  But wrong place for that.

Plan to re-calibrate both CrystalSky and Mavic Pro compasses in an area where I know there are no sources to cause Magnetic Field Interference.   But that is days away, thanks to a four-letter word.

New idea.
Maybe use the same calibration procedure like the Phantom:
Horizontal circle, flip the device 90 degree, do a second horizontal circle.
THE DJI DANCE..
It is also more safe, you do not drop your CS by mistake.

Mate, just go to CS settings, then Language and Input and switch off Autocorrection and You will be able to rename simply from CS

There are mainly positive responses around from 4.2.21 Android users

I tried your answer to this matter of the renaming.
But no luck on my CS 5.5, it is not a big deal: I am not flying with the on-screen keyboard.
I do the upload and naming at home of course.

The reason I did mentioned this was:
If it is a bug of a part of the on-screen keyboard program, it is not a big deal.
If it is a bug of a part of the touch-screen programma, it could be a potential a big problem.
(Sometimes I see no response of the touch-screen, I have to press the icon a second time...)

I think for the moment the compass is a bigger issue.
If this was working properly it would be a big improvement to the safety of the flying.
And of course safety is a big thing for DJI.

Anybody knows something about the big release that is a little bit later  ???

Definetly ran into that problem using CrystalSky after upgrades.   Got about half-named typed and it garbled name.  

End up re-downloading map and using TLA instead of full name for map.


Keyboard problem is something an intern should be able to fix.

Often takes several ''touches'' to get CrystalSky UltraBright touch screen to take input - anytime the touch input is near the edges, worst being near corners.

Had a flight this week and the video feed was very choppy ...  I am trying to download 01.04.0400 atm but the download keeps failing

Yes, this is a great improvement indeed! Just updating to .21 :-)

Updated to .21  last week and have had 6 + long flights and all seems to be working OK flight wise, still some chop in the video feed. Not sure about the compass as I don't really use it.

Creo que es mejor que hagas tu pregunta en inglés.
La actualización de CS llegará automáticamente a su CS, solo tiene que instruir para que se realice la actualización. Supongo que ha elegido el idioma español en las opciones.
