Filmed with the Mavic Air, the concept for this project started over a year ago immediately after hearing this remix of Whethan's ‘Savage’. I knew I had to create something big with it so I asked my athletically-inclined friends James, Ron & Vin if they’d be down to make a motivational-type video. Needless to say, they were into it. The vision began there but was put on hold until the timing was just right. In February '18 I won a contest through DJI to test out the Mavic Air for the month of March, which was the unexpected push we needed to execute this. One month of shooting (& countless battery-charging-delays because I had only 1 battery to work with) later and here we have the finished product! I hope you enjoy!

Mr. Kurt is a german guy who loves to paraglide. Check his amazing performance in this video. Btw, he's 72 years old. Enjoy!
Here is another one from the Field Archery tournament.
Height around 18 -20 meters, angle round 30°. Extracted from a video. Added a light tilt-shift effect, blury fore- and background and some LUT in Photoshop for the mood.

June 14, 2018. Port Townsend, WA hosts the first leg which is the qualifier for a race to Ketchikan, AK. No motors. No support. All the way to Alaska.
Sailors, SUP, kayakers, amalgamations of all of these, and more enter into this 750 mile race for a first place cash prize of $10,00 and a second place prize of a set of steak knives. They're probably pretty cool knives, but...
Only two rules - no motors and no support. Anything else goes. Hope you enjoy!
Submission # 2. Base jumping in Twin Falls Idaho. Shot with my Mavic Pro.
Perrine Bridge is a world famous destination in Twin Falls, ID, especially for BASE jumpers. It may be the only man-made structure in the United States where BASE jumping is allowed year-round without a permit. The 486' height above the Snake River is daunting and imagining standing and contemplating jumping seems beyond imagination for all but the most daring.
Pleasure mate. Temp is an awesome 31c in London today - it's been like this for weeks. Hate to say it but I'd love it to rain lol.
Congrats on 2K miles - that is a serious distance.
I've been heavily researching the Inspire 2 of late - very seriously considering but it will not be the most practical set up

Next entry - this time a video clip: Air Archery #3.
Short Sport Clip - footage filmed at the Volcano Field Masters, Field Archery Tournament in spring 2018.
Archery is a more static sport, the dynamics are inside your head. Outside calm, inside fireworks. So the music is the contrast that represents the brain-action. Everyone who ever competed in archery, knows what can go on in your mind. And, at least, you are alone with you, bow, arrow and the target.
Filmed with DJI Mavic Air. I wanted to test several modes like: Active Track (backwards), Tripod, circle around object, Cinematic Mode for a Dolly Zoom. Upwards tilted gimbal for a front view, possible with the Air. First, the scenes were planed as B-Roll material, but in the end, I have got a nice composition from it.
Filmed in 4K, 30 fps, ISO 100, shutterspeed 60, ND 16 Filter. Post with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC and Audition.
Thank you very much.
The best app in this case is a combination of several apps. I used Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition. This are mighty tools, but you need time to get all out of it.
The intro is done in After Effects, the dolly zoom in Premiere Pro, the magnifying wipe at the lift shot is done in After Effects, the end sequence too.
You need a lot of shots and it helps to be familiar with the sport to create a good composition. It helps when you know movements and shot sequence. At least: experiment and be creative. That's the fun in it.
