I'm guessing this is caused by banding due to the reflection of the sun. Can this be fixed in the next FW DJI?

I know - back to manual stitching for what I hope to be the interim mate.

Is it the props? Have the same problem on the MP with Photoshop.

Hope so too, although I have never been fond of the DJI way.
Autopano is much better.

yes could't agree more, I was suggesting to DJI that they would add and angle parameter to the "pano" mode since it's there in the SDK, no answer so far more that they would inform the developers for DJI-GO

Glad you have a work around at least

That would be a great idea - I think there are a lot of expectations in the next MA FW release... This being just one.

Yep, I was suggesting it to MP but it could be used for all plat forms as I see it.
It's sad to have a poor implementation of a good feature.

Hope it will get solved soon anyways.

It is mate - especially when your work turns into this. Will keep my pano stills on in the app to retain them on the card and stitch them myself until the elusive FW update comes out for the MA. Sooner rather than later. Think I'll only take panos on the MA in very low winds for now - see if that helps too.

I think the gimbal should be able to work with some wind.
But then again, I did notice the MP already takes a picture before it is actually hanging still in the air.
So that might cause for motion blur at lower shutter speeds.

Totally agree - always best to get the ND off the lens when taking stills and definitely panos (unless you're doing long exposure shots - yet to try those myself)

Very much the reason why I have not used ND filters so far.
That makes me wonder: will the MP make the pause longer when you take long exposure 360's ?

Probably not - just hope the focus is working effectively during the shoot. I will start with basic stills when I get an ND1000 then consider progressing to pano's - once I know the drone can handle doing them of course.

I thought about this ND1000 filter.
But then again, I really don't have much (fast) flowing water here.
And it seems you need a lot of tries to get sharp pictures.

There is that - it would be an accessory I'd hardly use TBH but some of the shots I've seen with them look very impressive. Maaaaaay be
