Personaly I never dare to fly thay long over water

I think I have the majority of my flight time over water, once I flew it 8000 ft. out over Lake Michigan.  The return to home is really good, just listen to the battery alerts on the controls, I've never had a problem flying over water as long as I am keeping the altitude high enough, and keeping the drone far away from anything it could collide with.  Good luck!
