The P4P came in handy today, ove rthe last few months the Davis VP2 anemometer has slowly becoming bogged down by spider homes, today it finally stopped and no matter how hard i hit the mast (normally fred it) it just wouldnt set it free and by now there was 5mph winds (i have a back anny running too) so i looked at joining stuff together (10m) but nothing i had would be light enough and long enough, was nearly at the point of bringing it down and replacing the cartridge with the spare when i suddenly thought, the P4P could sort this out, up it went, 12 inches above the top of the mast and freed the anny straight away, back down it came, put away and deny all knowledge....... Job done

As a side note:

I turned off all sensors had 15 gps locked and the ac was all over the place at 10m, it kept drifting, so quickly brought it back down and put all sensors back on again and it was 100% solid. was this cause it didnt have the VPS to keep it steady as it was so close to its 10m mark?

I am assuming it was prop wash and not a direct collision that did the dirty deed.  So where is that poor little arachnid going to live now??  maybe your pillow case?

When I worked in the hospital system I had to remove a nest of a spider and her babies from someones ear.  They do get everywhere those little buggers.

I used my P4P 2.0 to clear leaves off my shed garden roof. Just flew it low over the shed and watched as all the crap blew off. Saved me a ladder and a trip up there.

The only bit missing was "Which device are you using", certainly a cut & paste response, or perhaps AI :-)

DJI Leafblower. Sounds like a good model name. I might name mine U.S.S. Leafblower. Ahoy mate. But I use might to part my hair. Low flying hair weave. (Ha-Ha). We need a airtight to draw a drone with a Leafblower attachment.

Also make great overhead cooling fan. I was standing under ours on a hot day, having taken off, and remembered to check some camera settings as it hovered over my head. What a nice cool breeze from 20' below it.
