New Spark would not complete the firmware update. Tried several different things until finally calling tech support.
They informed me that I needed to send them my Spark so they could replace it.
After some advice from this forum I decided to just take it back to Best Buy for an exchange.
Got the new one home, completed the firmware update and quickly drained both battery's getting comfortable with it.
Color me happy!
