Does anyone else receive this message? It's a yellow warning message at the top, that would usually be green (Ready to Fly message).I've noticed this message only appears on my Mavic Air. On my Phantom 4, in the same zone, I just get the normal Ready to Go green message.
Anyone know what causes this message? I tested it by changing my Max Altitude to 499m, and the message goes away. When I set it to 500m, I get the warning. My Phantom 4 is also set to 500m, but no warnings. What's up with that?

Hi, sorry for the trouble that it caused, can you still remember what was the error message? Did you manage to calibrate the IMU and compass of your aircraft? Did you disable the beginner mode? Are you getting enough GPS signal?

Yes, everything has been calibrated and running the latest firmwares.

Here is a video of the issue:

Are you takeoff from high ground or hill? What is the high from sea level?

I have not taken off yet. This is at my home, which is 25 feet above sea level.
Like I said, with Phantom 4, I do not get this error message. Phantom 4 is set to 500m as well.

From what I understand DJI has limited the maximum climb from the take-off point to 500m.  It does not matter at which altitude you start from.  I did see a video of a guy who landed on a 495m tall building and then took off again and then could climb 500m higher.  He maxed out at 1000m above his first take-off point.

I wonder is that message means there is flying high limit on that area? Is any flight restricte zone near by?

That's just the normal message you get when you set the Max Altitude above the default. Not an error, just a warning that you're responsible for violating local regulations or laws if you exceed 400 feet or whatever it is where you live. Of course, now you have just publicly posted that you want to violate the law

You guys are not understanding the issue. I understand that 500m is well above the 120m legal limit. That isn’t the problem I’m posting about. 499m is also beyond the legal limit, it also tells me to accept liability when I set 499m. However, it doesn’t give me the yellow warning message at 499m, like the video shows. It just says Ready to Go.
It’s not a zone restriction because the Phantom 4 is in the same zone but does not display the yellow message.

Is there anyone who is understanding this issue, able to set 500m as max altitude and see if the Go App says “Ready to Go” or does it display the yellow message?
The message displays before even taking off.

Sorry, I get it now. That is weird behavior. Of course, just set it to 499 and you're good to go. I have mine set to 500 (hi FAA, it is so I can follow the slope of a mountain upward) and I don't get that yellow warning.

It’s not a problem to fly over 500 meters high by following the landscape. We just need to ensure keep 120 meters above ground level. This doesn’t mean I can’t fly to hill top over 500 meters above the takeoff point.

Yes, that’s the issue. I’m not sure why the Mavic Air displays that message at 500m, but not at 499m, and the Phantom 4 doesn’t display it at 500m either.
It appears your Mavic Air doesn’t display it at 500m.. I’m trying to figure out if there’s something wrong with my Mavic Air or if it’s normal.
