Because of extreme video lag/loss of vital info (eg battery status) on my Nexus 5X phone (yes, unsupported but worked fine for 9 months), I downgraded to 2.1.12 (via Apkmirror). Initially this worked well, but then the app spontaneously "upgraded" itself to 2.2.21 (I put quotes because the "upgrade" makes the Spark essentially unflyable). Downgraded again, initial flight fine, but this morning again the app had spontaneously upgraded to 2.2.21, with bad consequences. I must be doing something wrong. What?

Don't you have a setting on your phone that enables/disables automatic updates???  Maybe even selectable for each app???

good suggestion, thanks - yes the phone was set to automatic updates, which I've cancelled. Hopefully I can now stay on 2.1.12!
