Forgive me if I'm being really stupid, does the white box around calibration mean I need to calibrate.
The only reason I ask is everything works really well and I don't want to do it unless I have to.
I've never had to calibrate before, only from new.

No it doesn't, it's just the button to do it. If you need calibration, you will get a clear message requesting you to do it.
