As some of you may know, I have been living WAY OFF the beaten path for the past year. Palawan is an island of the Philippines that is rated as the #1 most beautiful island in the world, and recently I had an oportunity to capture one of its greatest secrets. Known as "the last tropical frontier" of Palawan, Ysla Reina is a resort that celebrates the undisturbed natural beauty of the most beautiful island in the world. For a limited number of people per day, you can relax on the beach, snorkel, dive, explore caves, hike through the forest, and enjoy nature's own therapy in an exclusive resort of tranquility and beauty.
When I took this photo from a distance, it was the first time the Island Queen had ever seen the entire property all in one picture. -Thats just how big this place is! Monkeys, monitor lizards, bearcats... wildlife abounds here, however the vegetation is so thick, its almost impossible to fly with the P4P, except around the outskirts of the island. I am filming places that has never been photographed or captured on video before, including a future hike to a secret cave that is believed to be linked to a certain japanese treasure stash. This place is amazing. Honetly, I don't know if I could ever go back.
Here is a preview of several videos to come in the future:
Thank you.
Shooting the footage is easy. uploading to the internet on a WIFI signal that is 10 years outdated is the hard part, hahaha. An average one minute video takes 2-5 hours to upload. -Welcome to the jungle!
THIS is the time to buy property in the Philippines.
No joke, there is still ocean front property here, tens of thousands of hectares for as low as $3000 us per hectare. This video is also the place where we will be building our own oceanfront home for about the same prices. You just have to love monkeys and keep your food locked up, hahaha.

She is such a beautiful thing, and yet so dangerous...
