Hi guys,

Does any one of you had the same problem as I.
I am trying to connect Ronin-S via RSS-IR cable to my Sony a7sII and camera doesn't react when pressing rec button on the gimbal.
Camera is set to Remote Control so it should recive and read a infrared signal. I've tried to press rec button several times including restarting camera and the gimbal but nothing happend. Camera is upgraded to version 3.0

I'll be very appreciated if anyone could guide me if there is anything I should know what to do?

I've had this issue a few times, where I've had to restart unplug the cable, and restart both the camera and gimbal.  To make it short, it isn't the most ideal method of control...so here's to hoping DJI can come up with a usb control solution sooner rather than later.

Hi Tom, after setting the camera to Remote Control, please turn off Auto Review when using Create features, this will be helpful to enhance camera operating efficiency.

I think I don't use any creative features in camera... Can't check it right now but I come back to this next week.

I have tried to connect  few times again and still no result.

My settings on camera Sony a7sII:

Auto Review - off
I don't use any creative features on camera
Airplane mode - off
Remote control - on

Is there any more tricks I don't know yet?

It is really annoying when silly control feature makes so much problem but finally sorted!

It's hard to believe but the Remote Sensor on the camera Sony a7sII is right below aperture wheal, at the front of the grip!

I have this exact problem. Is there a solution. Auto review is off

I had the same problem and I solved it through the RONIN app on the phone: go to >  CREATE > CAMERA  and choose between the options Canon, Nikone and Sony ...> Sony! Now it works!

Yeah they should know something so basic, thanks it worked to me too.

Old thread but, my app seems to be missing the crucial create camera setup function? Has anyone else encountered this issue, has it been removed from the app? Using a HuaweiP20pro

Neither does mine. Really odd. Anyone figured out a fix for this yet?
