Hey Folks,

Been doing some tests recently with the ronin rigged to the outside of my car to try and get some interiors while driving. I know I could just use a hostes tray or other car mounts, but I wanted to utilize the ronin to smooth it out a bit. Im having some trouble coming up with the perfect solution and am wondering if anyone has an experieince with this.

So far, every test has gone fantastic, except when ever the car turns, the ronin pans with it, causing the camera to point in the completely wrong direction. Im trying to tweak the smooth track settings so that it pans appropriatly, but its proving to be difficult! Any one have any insight?

Attached is a photo. Using some industrial strengh suction cups and some C-stand arms to hold the cross bar of the ronin.
Thanks!

I would use the 2nd operator controller to help when turning.

Second operator to do the panning is the only solution.

You can try hiding the thumb controller ( tied it no the shift stick) out of sight if you are by your self
