August/September though I am also very conscious that an Inspire 3 may hit the market in the next 6 months soooooo... may be worth waiting a bit longer

Last two generations were released in November 2014 (i1) and November 2016 (i2) with camera upgrades during the two-year cycles. So based on previous releases we should see an Inspire 3 this November 2018 but that is TBC by DJI.

Cool SparksBird..more and more of us are expecting for it...

Hoping that there will be an entry-level price point for the Inspire 3 (perhaps similar to Inspire 1) for the basic drone + nice camera.

I've just seen a brand new Inspire 1 Pro (zenmuse X5 micro four-thirds 16mp sensor) from an authorised dealer here in London with £1,000 off the RRP... It's getting tough now as that is a larger sensor than the X4S with the Inspire 2 and nearly two grand cheaper as a bundle!

The black Inspire 1 Pro that I shared earlier is also brand new with X5 camera (saw it in an authorized dealer).

£2199 for the i1 Pro - brand new too. Very tempted but still considering my options. The black edition is still full RRP in many places - nearly £4K - I would def get the Inspire 2 over that.

As shown in my post below, locally we have 1 brand new Inspire 1 Pro Black left at also a steep price however there are not many choices for Inspire 2 Combo here..it is a jump from the non-camera (drone-only) version to the Professional Combo (the Standard version is not available here).

My brand new Inspire 1 V2.0 was delivered today and the set up was very smooth. Got a great deal with a UK DJI reseller on a brand new one with some extras including a TB48 battery and a 24 month warranty. It is such an awesome drone (now in my profile on my icons on here too).

Figured the Inspire 2, as amazing as it is, is too professional and expensive for my current needs. Will enjoy flying the i1 v2 with the Zenmuse X3 for a while and get use to flying a 3KG drone at 50-60+MPH... Will upgrade the camera to an X5R or the drone to an i2 as and when I pass my pfco - if I decide to go down that route.

The build quality of this drone is excellent - it's like owning a Rolls Royce after playing around with a long list of BMW's lol. I can see why pilots keep their Inspire.
