Yes, it has not rained for 11 weeks (apart from some little rain) and there are about 80 large bushfires...
And next 2 weeks will be hot and dry again.

And there are many.
That is a worry.
We contacted the campsites and so far it is ok.
But things can change of course.

Why and how does that happen? I was about to redeem my points and buy the Osmo Mobile 2 but now feel like I'm getting ripped off having to pay $10 more versus recent customers who paid less.

Nope, I have not seen that.
But that is one area I am already booked.
So I would not notice.
I really don't know why they would do such thing.

     It was $139 when I first looked at it for purchase months ago.  Then a week later it went on sale at $129 and stayed there for a week while I thought about buying one (along with some other items).  Finally, I broke down and added it to my cart.  That was a couple (few?) months ago.  It looks like DJI is raising the price back to where it was originally, $139.

     Of course, when I get the Osmo Mobile 2 and try to set up my Android phone camera, I learned that the DJI GO version needed requires OS 4.4 or later.  My Android is 4.3!  And not upgradable.    AGHHHHHhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

     If things work out right, I might be getting a second hand iOS 6s, so all is not lost.
