Hi all. So my ac is perfectly fine and im scared to do the latest firmware upgrade after reading that ppl have bricked their ac and rc because of the update. WHY DJI???

the best advice anyone can give regarding firmware updates... if you arent having any issues dont upgrade your firmware unless it is mandatory

If your happy with it, don’t bother. I updated with DJI assistant and had zero issues. Don’t trust updating via app.

Its Samsung galaxy s6 and the latest 4.2.21 and 4.2.20 are NOT supported on it, so im on 4.2.12

Hi, since its a Samsung Galaxy S6 you don't have to worry about that because it is a supported phone. Just make sure as well to update the Android version of your mobile device. Thank you.

That they are bricked doesn't necessarily mean it's DJI's fault. The update worked fine by me.

Until now the Best Stable Versions for Android are v4.1.15 and v4.2.12. Disabled AutoUpdates and Update when necessary only.

True that. I liked 4.1.15 BUT it doesnt have intelligent modes, so im on 4.2.12, i think its pretty stable as well (on fcc ofcouse;) Auto updates OFF!!!

People bricked them because they did it wrong. Leave on the RC and AC the whole time. Your phone is fine, and the update is fine

So i just tried to update the firmware BUT the update process is always at 0% and doesnt move. I got quiet scared when i had to just close the app and switch off the device, i was afraid that its going to get bricked. Thankfully it did not get bricked. Shall i try to update by dji assistant 2 or just leave it alone?
