I've got an old Samsung S4 that I was hoping to use the DJI GO app on for controlling the Mavic Pro, but the video feed to the phone is very bad. How can I adjust the settings on the app to make the video feed better? Or maybe there's a tweak for the phone...?
I've tried some tweaks to the phone, mainly turning off animations and shutting off bloatware apps, but that's had no effect.


The video feed on my S5 is fine - but that's my cell phone, and would rather not deal with calls/texts while piloting the Mavic Pro!


Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for reaching DJI Forum. We do apologize for any troubles. The Samsung  S4 is not fully compatible to run the app. The video feed on the S5 is fine because its a fully supported phone. Please see the list of mobile devices below for future reference. Thank you.

That phone is to old for the latest or much newer Go4 apps you need to downgrade the app to older version use the link below

none of these do not work, wen you click on the download symbol, it just refreshes the page. wont let you donwload nothing from there, its all a lie, i got a samsung s7 and i can't see  wen i fly on my screen.

I just tried the link now and it works perfect, WHY would I want to Lie to you. Click on on the apk you want to download, then clieck on the varient number and your download begins

I'm using Samsung S7 on newest app 4.2.21 but on FW 01.04.0100 and newer have any delay or pixelation
in video. Has worked perfectly for me lat year on all FW and apps ex 4.1.18 app first release which was not  good.

It works perfectly just select the app you want and click the small download sign.
on next page scroll down till you see this.

Click the number under variant.

do i unstall the DJI app i have right now? the new upto date app? then download and install this one and open it?

Thank you very much, it downloaded, but i am not doing  nothing til i here back from you what to do next, do i uninstall the new DJI app and install the May 6 2018 app? and this will work for the samsung s7?

First Sync your flight data to the Dji cloud so you can get it back if you want.
Then uninstall the app and restart your device.
Before uninstall clear cache and data in settings / apps.
Then install the new app.

Forgot you have to turn off auto update for the app in Play store.

First open the Dji go4 app and press the sign inside the red marks.

Then go to the settings where the red arrow is on picture 2 and set it to all.
Then press the cloud sign inside the red marks.

Do I do this wen I'm disconnected from the drone? Or do I do it, wen the controller is hook up to my phone?

You don't have to connect the drone or the controller.

so it work, i flew it and gumball movement and etc works flawless, so why is this problem happing for? is it cause i have an Galaxy s7 model now? and its kinda getting old i guess?
