Hi has anyone replaced a Gimbal on the mav
Pro ? Any soldering needed or do i just plugged the cables in the a female receptical hope this makes sense i do notvwant to send my 1200 drone in to dji and wait 4 months to get it back   

Hi. I am sorry for the trouble. I would suggest sending the DJI Mavic in for further assessment and repair instead of fixing yourself. If the Drone is still on a warranty, it might be voided due to DIY. I will post the DJI online repair request link ( www.dji.com/support ) for you to utilize to create a ticket for your Drone.

There are videos on youtube to help you. Some small screws and the cables just unplug and plug in. Fairly easy i thought when i repaired my Mavic Pro. You will need to follow the instructions in the app when you first turn it on after replacing the gimbal and that is not hard either.
