Every time I change the setting and push done it just returns to 0 I have reset the controller reset the bird

I have tried to delete the app and reinstall
I have created a new account
I have tried 5 different phones now including an android and apple phone and nothing will let me change the settings and I’m getting very frustrated

My old man has exactly the same drone and has had none of these problems

Please help!!!!!!

Make sure your drone is on when changing settings.

Many settings are stored in the Phantom, not the phone or tablet.
To change those, you must have the Phantom connected.

Have you tried hard restarting the drone? by shutting it down from battery then pulling the battery out for 30 mins to an hr then turning it back on? fixed a similar problem with one of my phantom 3 SEs

These are the basic settings

I’m only trying to add the return to home altitude
I have tried it with the drone powered on and off

It won’t allow me to take off without doing it manually and every time I push return to home it just keeps saying “timeout” I think this might be bacause at the moment I can’t change the settings so it is set at return to home at 0

Try moving the ac to get a good gps signal , see if that helps ? and also are you logged into your account ?

Yes logged into my account and also I have tried exactly the same out side with 15 signals at one point

I have also tried resetting the RC to the drone and still the same problem

Your video shows the RTH height at 0 metres.
That's a huge clue.
It's telling me that you do not have the drone connected.
The minimum height for the RTH altitude setting is 20 metres.
Yours is showing zero because the drone is not connected and the app has no way of telling what has been set in the drone or of changing it.

Something isn't adding up.
Having zero showing indicates that there's no connection to the settings which are in the aircraft.
You say the camera view is working which would indicate the aircraft is connected.
I'm not sure what would explain that.  I've not run into it before.
Until you can see the aircraft settings, you won't be able to change them.

I have been able to see them once before because I took it out of beginners mode since then it has not worked

This is a bit odd? .... the only other thing i can think of  is to refresh the FW in the AC and Rc and them relink them , when you do all this ensure batts have a full charge  . Let us know how you get on

I’m literally lost, I have tried to reset all and have three batteries which all have full power
I have reset the bird and re linked the controller tried to add a new account to the drone and this all still don’t work

If you have tried all the suggestions here and are still having this problem, time to send to repair.

I’ve only had it a month where would you send it to repair

PM an admin and they will help you.

Do you have a shot of the Go app screen?

What  drone and what app?

Sent it back the drone was faulty, it was the phantom 2 a friends drone
