Thinking of buying a 7.85" CS I have the 5.5" would like some user feedback, Thanks.

I love the screen brightness and size of the 7.85 CS. Also the battery life is great. I have the Compass jitters along with every other CS user. Once you own a Crystalsky its very difficult to want to fly using anything else.

Having said that, I use it as a casual flyer. With never more than 1 ½ worth of fly time to any one outing. I don't need it or use it as part of my job. So have never experienced many of the problems through prolonged use other owners have complained about.

I would Say its started to feel old and slightly clunky. Also the CS appears to be extremely unloved by DJI.

I'm pretty appalled by the slow firmware, and software updates are rolled out for this so called premium product.

I would like to change my vote for CS 7.85" Ultra Bright from Somewhat Reliable to Never Reliable.  

On my fourth repaired or replaced Cs-Ub.

What issues did you have that caused the need for replacement? Im looking at at the 5 inch model currently to replace my cell phone and my tablet.

#1 - Original CrystalSky Ultra brite (bought directly from DJI) would intermittently hang or freeze.
#2 - Replacement CrystalSky Ultra brite, had problems with overheating, pixelation (possibly tied to Mavic Pro), responding to touch at Top of screen, and performance issue when Focus Peaking and Exposure warning were enabled.
#3 - Swap or Repair of Replacement CrystalSky #2 Ultra brite came back with F1 and F2 buttons not working.
#4 (one I am currently on) - Swap or Repair of #3, has not yet been powered up.  Thus, I am assuming it is working...

The UB works fine indoors and on cloudy days. The first time you use it on a bright sunny day the backlight burns out.

I have the 5.5 and it has worked perfectly.
