Hi - I hoping someone might be able to help.

I am based in Australia and just purchased a Mavic Air more fly combo online. On receipt of the product I have learnt that it is a 'Asian Model' coming from Hong Kong.

I wasn't aware that there were different models from different regions.

Can any one tell if there is any differences and if I should be worried, I assumed it would be coming from within Australia? I've been assured the product is 100% DJI genuine product.

They all come from China since DJI is a Chinese company, in my opinion you don't need to worry.

There are no differences from where it comes but where you use it.

Depending on the state you fly in you either use CE or FCC. Since you are non european you will fly with FCC mode.

No, you won't have issues.

My understanding was that Australia came under the CE rule - might be wrong

I think the differences are in the power adaptors for mains electricity.

No issues with frequencies either. It will always adjust to the transmission standard applicable for the country/region where you are flying. When you first started it there should have been a message popping up informing you about a region change. Just click "Accept" and it will switch to whichever standard is applicable in Australia.

the only difference I think is the power plug for the charger. Different outlet type per region.

I got EU version from official retailer here in Vietnam. The first one is for Asian market. I did not see any different.
