Dear DJI,
Please, please, please release a version of the Ronin S with an ARCA Swiss plate rather than the proprietary version. I have invested too much in a standardised system to have to switch out to another at a high cost & disrupt my workflow.

Until this is done I will not be able to migrate to the Ronin S.

Why not mount that plate to the Ronin-S plate?
I mounted a Manfrotto QR base plate to the DJI plate and it works great.

I'm not a fan of fixing plates to plates... It makes for a less secure setup and I value my camera

Arca-Swiss type is most convenient plate, and also it is standard for professional mounting system. Even Gitzo-Manfrotto started to make plate with arca-swiss dovetail

Usining Ronin-S send me back to old manfrotto standard

I received an email response from dji...

"As of now, our facility hasn't given us a timeframe when the accessories will be released but they are currently working on it. What we do suggest is to kindly monitor our website from time to time to know if the ARCA Swiss mounting plate is already released"

So, ARCA Swiss will be supported. But as an accessory at an extra cost. I hope that it is an integral system rather than just an extra plate mounted onto the existing plate.

I´ve had the same problem with having all my adapters Arca Swiss and wanted to change my Cameras on the Ronin without screwing the mounting plate from camera to camera. I mounted a Arca Swiss to the Mounting Plate of the Ronin S:
