Just updated my M600 Pro to the latest FW and now when i turn on i get ESC error on all 6 ESC's.

Have tried the update again but no luck.

Out of 10 reboots only 3 times did i get Safe to fly (which i dont entirley trust) All other times i get ESC error and obviously wont take off.

Any ideas how to fix or downgrade?

Hello, Neilw, Go back to the last firmware that worked if you can, this normally works then you can re-flash again or let it stay where it is.

downgrade is done from assistant 2, log on to it as you did to upgrade, there should be a list of previous firmwares, click the one below the current one and see if it will flash. DJI do sometimes state you can’t go back to old firmware and if this is the case start a help ticket with DJI.

We're sorry to read the troubles. Please kindly connect with DJI Assistant 2 and refresh the firmware to see whether it helps. If still no luck, I'm afraid that you may consider sending the unit in for diagnosis.

I dont have the option to downgrade. Only upgrade. ??

Maybe a need an older version of the assistant app but there isn't one available to download?

Hello, Just curious as to what upgrade you were doing? The last upgrade I saw for the M600 was, Aircraft Firmware - V 1.0.1.66 (04-17-2018), at the time is used DJI Assistant 2, V 1.1.7. Was there a newer release? I had no issues with that past upgrade on both of my M600 Pro's.

Thanks,

The FW I upgraded to was V1.00.01.66 and Assistant V1.2.4.

I have no other options on the Firmware page apart from the current one. No option to roll back.

Does anyone have an other version of Assistant i can download and try?

DJI Assistant 2 Version 1.2.4 requires that you agree to authorize share information to enable activation, firmware etc.

I just checked my PC, I am running DJI Assistant 2, V1.2.3, and that is the version I used for the last update. I don't know if you can get an 'older' version of this application. I would open a case with support, and get their take on what to do next.

Thanks,

At least 1st and 2nd selection must be 'on' to update firmware

So i managed to get my old Assistant version back (Time Machine Backup).

Still no option to select an older FW and so i did a refresh of the current FW... Still no joy,

When booting up if the internal fan stops then i will definitely get the ESC error. If the fan runs then all is ok and don't get the error message.

Its 50/50 as to if it happens or not.

DJI - HELP please

Well i have an update - It fell out the sky!

ESC errors went away for about a week and the all of a sudden it went nuts and crashed. As it was about to hit the deck i looked at the iPad and saw an ESC error.
