Help! I have had my spark for about three months now and still have not been able to update the firmware. I can fly it with the remote, but cannot get the camera to sync at all, so I can only fly out as far as the eye can see. Everytime I try to sync I run the battery down too far to update. The scanner sucks! I bought a pixel 2 because its supposed to be the phone for the spark according to verizon. Used to use ipad for the camera, but is bulky. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I am not a smart phone rocket scientist. I traded in my flip phone for this pixil 2 just for the drone. I cannot figure out how to get the manual settings into this phone.....Frustrating!!!

Have you tried assistant 2 on a computer?

Try to use an OTG Cable from the Remote to the Phone.
