I've updated the firmware on my p3p, but following the directions it doesnt seem to be working on the remote. I have the micro sd card in the camera, the usb cable from the p3p to the remote. I power on the remote (not the p3p) and after a while it just starts beeping. It beeps forever without any blue light appearing. Any ideas how to get it to successfully upgrade?

For future reference, when updating the remote by connecting to the USB port be aware there are two USB ports on the Phantom 3.  One is on the gimbal (this is the one you should be plugged into for updating the controller)  The other USB port is in the front of the aircraft (this one is NOT for firmware update!)


(Firmware v1.1.9 update does not need to be applied to the controller)

But it doesn't harm either...
