Greetings all,

I will be taking my Phantom 3 SE overseas where there are no altitude restrictions like here in the states. (South Africa)
I want the drone to climb higher than it is programmed to.
How can I accomplish this?
I understand that there software to make this happen.

Thank you in advance

Hi. Thanks for reaching out DJI Forum. You may set your maximum flight distance by using your DJI Go app. Just go to general settings >> click the first icon on the top left corner >> then there you can set your flight distance. For reference, please see the attached image below. If you have other question, please let us know. Thank you.

Your Phantom is programmed to fly no higher than 500 metres above your launch point.
You can't override that.

I'd suggest you do a little Google searching if you think that there are no altitude rules in South Africa.
