I had originally ordered the Ronin-S for my Sony A7RII, however the lack of functionality certainly caught my attention.  The biggest concern for me is the ability to pull focus.  Looking at this chart:

It would seem only the A7III and A7RIII will support manual focus via software so unless Sony changes things at best these two cameras will be the only ones with the ability to pull focus without a motor (like the Crane 2).  Even the A9 falls short.  Just an observation...
