what is the best Android device for MA?
I need both good speed , nice big screen for navigation  and comfortable as well

You should ask DJI if you don't know what is Crystal Sky...

I've always been an Android user but I'm thinking on getting an iPad so I no longer have problems with the controller charging the tablet/phone

None, buy an Apple device.  So much better with DJI equipment.

Any of the Google phones since the Nexus 6 to the Pixel 3 (XL) when it is released soon. I can vouch for the Nexus 6 and the Pixel XL. Plus you will get updates timely and new OS's right when they are released I'm using Android 9.0 beta 4 on my Pixel XL and everything DJI just works
I gave my wife a iPhone 6S+ when they come out and it seems fine also but iOS has been messing things up in the past to the point DJI had to contact them to fix something a few months ago

+1 for the CrystalSky. I used my Droid Turbo with no problems for the last year or so without any issues. But the last couple of releases of firmware fixed that. My Droid now locks up about 30 seconds after takeoff. Wasn't so much of a big deal as I also have the DJI Goggles and usually didn't realize the issue until the end of the flight.

But since I'm headed to Colorado in a few weeks to film up in the mountains for a week, I figured I'd better have a more reliable monitor in case I ever have problems with the goggles in flight. Finally bucked up for the CS and have been using it for the last month of so. So far, I can say it was worth the price and I haven't had any issues with lock ups or video lag.

Just purchased the Lenovo Tab 3 plus 8" for $139.00 and it's great with the DJI go 4 app for my MA. No lagging no disconnections just pure bliss. It has a snapdragon 625 and 3 GB of Ram.
