I've personally found a better sensor/lens combination, cropped, is superior to a poorer sensor/zoom lens combination.

I think 80% wants the pro - but at the end.... its the price. If DJI wants 3K/4K for the pro and "just" 1.5k for the zoom ... those 80% will switch to the zoom

1" sensor ... Pro !!!

Looks kewls but i doubt i get a new one and will just stick with my 2 Mavic Pros for now.

My hope is that DJI forum admins start a completely new set of new forums for these lol I get confused at times that i am replying to a Mavic Air (which i do not have) instead of a Mavic Pro or Platinum
I hope NLD updates these models also. Best $25 accessory i have ever bought for my drones

Zoom lenses not used to "zoom" to subject (at least by professionals), but for changing focal length and angle of view! Just try to shoot your face with 35mm lens and 100mm  
Also with "zoom" you can get nice blur background. So, zoom not used to get subject closer, but change view angle etc.

Tell that to a wildlife or sports photographer.

I'll stick with the Pro.  It is a proven bird.  I will let the other guys do the R&D on the new craft first.  Til then, I got plenty of miles left in my MP!!

I have no clue as to the price.
I have dealt with Florida drone supply for years and have always gotten top notch service.
I wrote Michael the other day and asked him to put me on the list for a Mavic 2 Pro and to contact me as soon as he is allowed to discuss money. He told me I am the first on the list.

I buy into the prediction that the camera/gimbal will be interchangeable. Buy the large sensor camera now get the zoom later too. Seems silly that DJI would make you choose and have to buy two drones just to get both cameras . They’re going Inspire style with MPv2 letting users swap them.
The early leaked photos appear to show a Osmo like device for handheld recording too a la Inspire 1. Pop the gimbal off pop another one on or put it on the handheld.

May be wishful thinking, guess we’ll find out soon. If interchangeable getting both, if not going with larger sensor version.

Cant make a decision till I see what DJI puts out.

Guys, DJI make great drones, why not buy both?
