It would be an great addition if we get the option to upgrade the camera on the Mavic.

Better gimbal that do stand better in windy conditions.

Better and faster camera + improved optics.

Sounds like you should have bought a P4P not a mavic.

Instead of coming out with 2 models they should have just made one. Neither to me is good without the other one.

Sounds like you need to upgrade to the MP2 or P4P.  Doesn't seem logical that DJI, like any tech company, is going to be spending time to offer new features for discontinued models, when they have new models coming.

Most people will find either model suitable.

In fact, most people will likely be happy with the small sensor zoom as they're not after the highest quality images possible.
The same reason most people are happy with the existing MP camera despite its very very obvious shortcomings.

To me a zoom would be nice and i might use it in a few circumstances.  But a bigger sensor assuming it delivers far more dynamic range and lower noise is a lot more important for my general usage.

It would be more environmental friendly to allow simple upgrades to aftermarket drones. Theres no need to for a new aircraft in most cases. MP2 will prob just have better camera but pretty much the same aircraft. So kinda silly for that minor upgrade unless your a new customer. Maybe there will be some 3rd party camera upgrades availible or to buy MP2 camera as spare part to fit the orginal MP

Would like to buy a stable drone, and have a variety of add on cameras and lenses to choose from. (according to need, and budget)
Would also like to have more vertical and horizontal movement of the camera gimbal, for a wider range of images.

There’s really no need to see a drone as a ”smartphone” what you bought you are stuck with.. Theres plenty of room inbetween for upgrade market that can potientslly make more profit to DJI then the one time sell gain they get. Win win for both customers and DJI.
Btw dont like the Phantom , dont want to carry that chunk around.
The drone provides a payload to carry. The payload is the camera.
That knows there can be tons of more options for customization than is beeing offerd today. Then people can build there own drone to fit there own needs, instead of DJI trying to push all new drones.
For example MP Platinum vs MP.

Yes totally agree, every market is pushing for making the customization part as a key ingridient. Many just want to design the looks, some speed , other all of it. Just as an example if you look at what car industry is offering now to Compare with 10 years ago.
Same goes for Computer games etc etc
Customization is key for every product now. The customers knows best what they need and are willing to spend more dollars on this, instead of the giant leap in model changes that are beeing offerd today.

Ahhh... Just noticed you changed you name to h-001.

I think it would be nice if you could just change out the whole camera/gimbal assembly.  But then that would be like one of the "real" flying cameras. P4P/Inspire.
