Cannot get IR to activate my camera, a Canon 80D. If you view the emitter on the end of the cable through the camera on live view you can just barely see the light. When compared to the IR coming from my TV remote it is a candle versus a headlight! Even when put right on the IR sensor on the camera it won't activate it. Is it just a faulty cable or is there a way to adjust the output? The ronin was fully charged and latest update.

Got the same problem with my Sony A7s II. IR only works when it's dark.

Doh!! Forgot to reset camera option in the Create section to Canon Camera after the firmware upgrade. It all works now so suggest you check that for your Sony camera.
