When I ordered this device, it appeared that all 5D camera's were on the list of compatible cameras. I now have my Ronin-S and only the IR cable works with my 5DSR so the focus wheels and half-press shutter do not. Half the reason I got this was for the focus wheel.


I'm now running the latest firmware (1.1.2 R) and the Ronin S running the latest firmware (1.3.0.20) and the micro USB cable plugged in as you have it and in the app under Create>Camera it simply says "Dedicated cable disconnected".


When will this get fixed?

what do you mean "IR cable works"? I have a 5DSR but where do you plug the IR cable??

You don't actually plug it in to the camera, rather, you plug it into the gimbal and then point the IR cable at the IR receiver on the camera. When looking at the camera from the subject view, it's to the left of the lens.
