How long does your battery last? 2/3 of my batteries last 12 minutes. The third lasts about 14.

Hello, for the Mavic's Air battery it will last around 21 minutes (no winds at a constant speed of 25 km/h).

In six months, the battery has never exceeded 17 minutes in perfect conditions, 21 minutes is a myth.

Thank you for your response and sorry to hear that it was not exceeded in 17 minutes. This would depend on how you fly the drone. With a full charge battery, the 21 minutes is only an approximate time. May I know how do you usually fly your drone? Have you also updated the firmware of the aircraft? As this will also update the firmware of your battery.

Everything is updated every time I fly. It doesn't matter if I'm hovering at low altitude or flying 1,500 feet in any direction at 200 feet up. My average is 14 minutes.

That's why I want to know what others are averaging.

I understand where you are coming from. This estimated 21 minute flight time, was actually tested with our Engineers in no wind environment. In order for us to determine where the issue is coming from, do you have a spare battery that you can use and test it? And let us know if there is a difference when it comes in flying and the flight time. If there is none, you may want to submit a request for a possible repair/replacement of the battery. But please take note of the After-Sales policy for battery. Please see the image below.

I believe 21 min is under ideal conditions with all sensors off and no recording. I have been as low as 9 min and as high as 20 depending how I fly.

This is really normal. In real life you will achieve 15 minutes without running into trouble and have a safe landing reserve. Wind e.g. can further reduce flighttime. The 21 minutes are under "laboratory" conditions, compare it to the advertised fuel consumption of cars ;-)

Same here.
The 21 min is theoretical. Not real world use.
Similar to the city mpg that the cars and particularly SUV are rated for city use.

Extending the battery usage and runing it down to about 5%, I could do about 18 minutes. So, to not damage the battery, at about 15% I could fly for 15 minutes. This was very cosistent on three batteries.

Is it so for you too?

Just pulled the last bunch of full battery flights.  Obviously wind conditions and what I'm doing varies each flight, but seems like often I'm getting a little over 15 minutes with my landing safety margin:

My record flight time so far was 17m 16s with 98% charge at take off and 13% at landing. I could only risk it because my MA was all the time near me. My normal flights are around 15 minutes with sufficient return and landing reserve.

21 minuets is measured to 0% battery power. In the real world you won’t be able to fly to 0% power. Normally I land around 70% with 15 minuets flight time.

Just got a brand new Mavic air total of 4 flight session in the air. Right after take off battery meter always shows less than 16 minutes of flight time. (almost no wind condition).
That is almost 25% reduction of what the official released flight time. I understand flight time is based on environment, it is just way off and I am hoping maybe 18-19 minutes right after take off.
Could this be a fault battery because of sitting in the warehouse for 9 months?

My longest flights are 16-17 minutes but I usually land with quite a lot of battery power left. Always more than 20%. Often more than 30%. The majoity of the flights are around 10-15 minutes.

Really depends how you fly and conditions..  15 mins is very much average.  I have squeezed out 22 minutes on my landing at 0% (I don’t recommend on the mavic  air as it doesn’t have much of a “buffer”).   If I’m rocketing around in sport mode on a windy day I may get less than 10 minutes of air time but if I’m taking in the scenery flying slow on a lightly breezy day   I gotten upwards of 18 minutes before landing at a reasonably  safe 15%.
