I mic subjects with a lapel mic when I mount my iPhone on a tripod and use an external mofi for backup power. I typically use FilmicPro app. Osmo 2 design blocks the charging port o my phone and plugging a cable into the headphone jack throws off the phone balance in the gimbal. Good audio is as important as smooth video. The gimbal motor noise I pick up with my internal front facing iPhone mic makes it impossible to use that audio. Osmo Mobile 2 will improve my video quality but equally degrade charging and audio performance. I don't think I can simultaneously bluetooth pair my iPhone to a bluetooth mic and to the Osmo.

Hello there. Sorry for the late response. When using Osmo Mobile 2, the recording of sound is handled by your phone other than the gimbal system. For such reason, we redesigned the port as a dedicated port for charging and firmware upgrading.
