I'm getting that feeling  Heading across south England this weekend with my wife and son to visit some relatives and taking the Inspire - hope to get at least 12 flights in at multiple locations.

South England is the best place to fly a drone and get a fantastic view  , especially Brighton  and Eastbourne, ( Beachy head) , i really miss this place )

Cool, Im in the middle of capturing clips of some trains here in Miami, they just inaugurated a new "fast" trains I decided to get on that doing fly bye and taking a ride in the train with the Osmo raw.  However since my new toy is easy to carry and setup I've been using that, maybe as a guide to replace with the Inspire Raw before the video is final, however the footage from the EVO is really looking good........

Going to Wiltshire and North Somerset - lots of open space compared to London

I've seen some good reviews on the Evo but if I were to  add a smaller drone I'd wait for 23 August now - the Mavic 2 Zoom looks very nice.

I wanted something different, tired of the DJI idiosyncrasies just want to fly, capture nice video and enjoy it. When I want to work again I'll pull out the inspire (this weekend) but I might need a valium or two.

I've flown mine 28 times now with over 7 hours flight time - really getting the hang of it. I've got 3 TB48's with the TB47 now so getting over an hour per outing and bought an iPad Mini 4 64gb with cellular in silver to use as a dedicated device to finish off my accessory spending spree
Took it on a trip to southwest England over the weekend and got some amazing shots. So impressed by it. At one field there was a couple of pilots with an Inspire 2 X7 and another guy with a P4P V2 with my flying the Inspire 1 V2 - quite a sight seeing all three in the air together.
No regrets getting this drone in the slightest. Best drone purchase I've ever made.

I love my MA so much I've decided not to fly it and just keep it as a collectable.  That's why I purchased the P4 Pro.  It's my regular flyer.   I guess that sounds strange since the Phantom is much more expensive but the MA to me is much more interesting from an engineering perspective.  It really is a marvel.

The mavic air is truly a marvel specially if you fly it.  You will miss all the bells and whistles it could do if  you don't fly it.

he will miss the portability for sure when travelling. MA small and good for travelling.

No I don't 'miss' anything on any of my previous drones actually. Portability is not that important to me. I only just returned from travelling across south west England with my Inspire - no problems at all.

I could have got the I2 but the only real advantage is flight time and the ability to record in resolutions higher than 4K. Bought more batteries so get an hour anyway and I shoot mainly in 1080p @ 60p and would have little use spending 2 hours importing a 12 minute video in 5.2K for my personal use (non commercial) and I don't have a 5K monitor so pointless. I also like the fact that the Inspire 1 is more nimble and agile and less controlled by tech (no more FW updates). I've seen several videos on YT of pilots who own both the I1 and I2 and still prefer the I1. It's also half the price of course and 1KG lighter. This drone will do me nicely.

You are right I1 is absolutely more user friendly than the I2 from my knowledge.  I think my selling point was transporting the big case got a little too old for me, but I do miss the monster of a drone it is.

It is getting heavier the more I buy lol - think I'm done with accessories now and just going to enjoy flying it with the set up I have made. I'd wait for the I3 then the I2 will price drop if that is the one you are considering getting next.

Ah was wondering where ACW had got to! Ex Mavic tribe lol! Have to say am in the 'Aspire to an Inspire' group for now - even with the M2P out - the Inspire is the bee's knees for camera quality.

Can not recommend it enough mate. It is a totally different flight experience to anything else I've flown before. The Mavic 2 Pro looks awesome but the thought of selling my Inspire for it has not crossed my mind for one second. Even the images from the more basic X3 are superb.

I would love to have a Inspire 1 or 2, very cool
