I am receiving this error too. On the previous version of DJI Assistant 2 the "Downloading" screen would just sit at 0%. On the latest version 2.0.0 the screen immediately switches from downloading to the error screen mentioned above.
Has anyone successfully downloaded and installed the firmware?
This feels like a problem with connecting to the DJI server for the download. I receive the same issue when trying to refresh and backdate versions.
I spoke with a support person at the U.S. Customer Support number and he said he opened a ticket and that engineering would probably address it tomorrow. :-)

Update worked.
Can someone please check the stick calibration?
In my case (LB2, Win7) the calibration procedure remains in the first step, fetching the zero points of the sticks.
After cancel the former calibration is still ok.
