The footage was great - interesting subject matter. The transitions were unusual, and I found them a little too swift on occasion. Thanks for the share.

Very lovely area, but I agree with the others.  I read awhile back that you rarely, if ever, see pro videographers use transitions.  I only use them now for major changes in time or location.  A suggestion - take your video, remove all the transitions, and see if you feel (as I often do) that the video is better without them.  Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the suggestion and do I agree. I use them but in other video shots less or more depending on the tune I'm using.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm still working on perfecting the editing skills.  Takes tons of practice hence the reason I keep at it.

That's a fact. The ratio of flying:editing is probably 1:5 for me, at a guess.  Interesting comment from StanfordWebbie regarding transitions.  I've used them in most of my stuff, and some people like them.  But it's a tip worth considering and I shall try it out.

Most of my videos I use transitions but again there may be more or less of them depending on the music and shots I'm sewing together (just my style of video artistry). I'm not a professional cinematographer/videographer by all means but only an amateur.

I try to edit using with what I feel at the moment with the music and scenes.  It's a lot of fun but very challenging to perfect the final product. For me there's always room for improvement that's why I continue to work on many different projects.

Choosing the right angle of shots, direction, transitions, coloration, resolution, FPS, LUTS, storyline, titling, but most importantly.....MUSIC is critical.

I can't tell how important is the music. I take hours trying to choose the right music. I've seen videos where the music completely ruins the video - totally.

We're all at various points on the learning curve. I'm still bumping along the bottom bit before the curve begins to become exponential

Thanks!  The mission planning and subsequent video editing took vast amounts of time -each exercise enjoyable in its own right. Whereas the flight time was less than ten minutes
