I am about to switch to the new Sony XZ2P for video shooting concern and wondering if DJI has conducted any product compatibility on Sony XZ2P in OM2?

The heavy weight (236g) and size (158mm x 80mm) of the new phone should probably be an issue on Portrait Mode in OM2?

also, the new phone is quite thick (11.9mm), Is the clamp of OM2 capable of holding the phone in place?

I supposed 4K HDR shooting and slow-motion capabilities of that phone, cannot work with existing DJI-ware?

But you may still try to check if it will work.

The Osmo Mobile 2 supports smartphones 58.6-84.8 mm wide and up to 8.4 mm thick. This covers most phones currently available, from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6s Plus and Android phones of similar size. Please note that actual compatibility might be affected by accessories attached to your phone. Certain form factors including side button layout should also be considered.

In regards to the resolution, that will depend on the capability of the mobile device to do so.
