I can find several sun hoods available for the iPad Air but not sure which to choose. Any recommendations from the forum community?

I ordered an Anbee from eBay for $10... it works well.  It looks good in white too.  I'm using an iPad mini 3 at the moment.  This is a UK link but I am sure you will find in the US too.  It has little suction pad which grip the back of the pad which is neat, then velco holding the sides square.  Simple but effective.

I purchased the one on the link but returned it because it was pretty much useless:

It fit perfectly and folded nicely for storage, but there was still a lot of glare. I am sure that the problem was not specific to that sun sunshade since it is pretty big and covers the iPad pretty well, it is just that the sun in FL is too strong.

I made my own with some foam core, gaff tape and velcro.

Do you attach it between the device-holder and the device - or do you put it behind the device holder?

What is your experience out in the sunlight - should it be very big/tall? How tall compared to the device? Do you wish it was larger or smaller (cumbersome vs giving a good amount of shade?).

I use a PadHat by Hoodivision ($30) for my iPad Mini 2! It works great and clips on quick because it uses a magnet similar to Apple's Smart cover that quickly clips on and doesn't interfere with the iPad itself. Here's the link to the one for the iPad Air. http://www.hoodivision.com/#!for-ipad-air-1-2/cz3s

I have a 10 inch tab and use a rucksack rain cover . Stretch one end over the tab with a fitted sun shade ,and the other over my head creates a real imersive flight
And no glare or reflection at all,it like using goggles.

It attaches to the top of the mobile device holder with velcro.

Mine is about 4 inches deep but you can experiment...

Or buy this one...
