Unlike from ground level, from above, those trees look like bushes.

If you had fun doing that (cutting... not photographing)... I have about 100 you can have fun with.

I wish I could cut them down, it would go quicker.  Even if you cut them off at (or slightly below) ground level, their stumps will remain nearly rock hard for many years.  A mistake, I learned hard way.
Instead, you got to rip them out, stump and all but medium to small roots.
