We want a total of 50 users to test the beta firmware and Multi cable. DJI will be responsible for picking the 50 users.

Here are the steps to apply for this public beta firmware and hardware:

Send an email to RoninSBeta@dji.com with the title "Sony Firmware Beta Tester" with proof of ownership with a photo of your Ronin-S mounted with any of the following cameras: Sony A7RII, Sony ASII, Sony A6300. Be sure the email account you use is the one that’s linked to your DJI account (when you registered your product).

Provide the following in the email:

FULL NAME
MAILING ADDRESS
PHONE NUMBER

This is required because we will be sending a DJI Ronin-S Multi cable for use with the beta firmware.

After you’ve sent the email, we will contact you if you’re selected. If you’re selected, you will be responsible for reporting any bugs you find during normal use. Be sure to note the exact steps and mode you were in along with camera model used when you found the bug.

Is the A6500 also ok?

We received an overwhelming number of applications but we can only fill 50. Thank you to everyone that applied. We will be sending out a notice to those that are picked in the next day or so. If you weren't picked, don't worry, we'll consider your application as a possible tester for any future applications.

Hi Paul,
Unfortunately missed out on the Beta. If all goes well, what sort of time frame are you hoping for public roll out?

@ DJI - Received the cable on Friday, though DJI Pro Assistant still doesn't have the Beta firmware available for download FYI. Can't test it until that is available-

Where do we report bugs?

Hurry up DJI and beta testers!
