The USB port underneath the nameplate is the one you're after.

If the drone was on for 6 hours while you were draining the batteries, the files are gone. That is ...

Thanks for the input. That was also my suspicion as well.

I was not aware of the that, if I had I known would of not have discharged the batteries!

DJI would not have the aircraft logs now, which is not good for me.

I was overseas and travelling on a commercial plane and by default I fly with batteries at storage level for safety reasons. I was only aware of the onboard flight logs once DJI asked me to retrieve them, which was after I had discharged the batteries.

I noticed that the logs reach a maximum size of around 330MB. If the drone is left for an hour, do multiple files get created for that single power up session?

It appears that way.  We haven't actually figured it all out yet.  We did have a log file that got created today get tagged with the timestamp from the last time it was used yesterday...

We do know that the maximum size seems to be around 330 MB or so and that there is about 2GB worth of storage that rotates.  It also seems to create about 173 KB worth of log file per second!

Hi

Thanks for the effort - it looks amazing. Now if I could jsut get it to work on my files:

- USB from W7Pro desktop to front (not gimbal) of P3Pro
- Flight Data Mode activated on remote
- P3 showing in Windows
- DAT files showing in Windows
- DAT files copied across to my server
- Upload a DAT file to your site - 3 different files so far - I get an error each time:

No valid data points. / No valid data points were found. / It is possible that this log file was taken while there was not a valid GPS lock.

- Weirdly I got this with the same FLY108.DAT file you dropbox linked below.

What am I doing wrong? I'm sure it's simple ...

Regards Ken, Newbie P3P pilot.

The reason why my files report no valid GPS lock is because it was logging while I was discharging my batteries indoor. A new log file is created upon the Phantom powering on.

We just released an update that enables the data to be read out to a CSV file at the native rate. It creates some pretty big files and users are limited to the amount of free RAM they have on their client machines. There is a lot of data here and we are exploding it from a nicely packed binary format to a big nasty ascii one.

Has anyone gotten this data to import into Dashware? It looks like MapsMadeEasy isn’t on Dashware’s supported loggers page.

The sensor data is stored in your DJI Pilot app on the iOS device. There are several applications o ...

You mention using IExplorer to grab and convert.  Do you have an output format of this process?  I'm trying to get all my data in Excel so I can tabulate it and back it up.  If I can see an output, then I will invest in IExplorer.  Thanks.
