Hi guys i passed the part 107 exam and did the application online, i was issued a temp certificate but the cert number says "pending". I need the cert number specifically. Any idea how long it takes for the cert number to generate online? I am hoping I dont have to wait the 2 months for the physical license to come in the mail just to get the cert number.

You will have to wait till they do the background check and process your application. Takes 60 days. You can keep checking at IACRA.

some people have received their permanent cert in a few weeks; others have had to wait for up to three months. You also have to factor in holidays and weekends. Mine took 45 days from the day I passed the test to getting my permanent certificate in the mail.

They could be faster now at processing them. Mine's over a year old.

No it still takes at least 45 days. Passed mine in March and received mine in May.

yup i remember as i received mine right ahead of you in Dec 2017

Anyway check this out. Seems we have a forever cert (No more IACRA) but need take a re-current exam for another 24 months. I like that rule

Wow nice, thanks I didn't know. The card it doesn't even have an expiration that so makes sense it's a permanent card that needs only a recurrent exam.
