That M2 looks bulky and out of proportion.

That’s the box silly, the M2 is inside it.

Here is a pic the Mavic Pro 1 to compare and check for differences with the Mavic Pro 2 above.

Surely not a radical difference from Mavic Pro 1 but differences are the Gimbal of course , vents on the side front , motors have a more rounded cone shape at the top , and you can see the side obstacle sensors near the rear , bottom sensors and the rear feet have holes , what else do you guys see ?

From what it looks like the gimbal is still fragile.

Front lights are rotated 90-degrees and placed where legs meet arms.
Access cover is located on bottom edge and moved forward.

Looks more expensive.

Most important for me is the noise, so hope that this is matching at least the noise of the parrot anafi.
But camera quality is of course also important , and in this case the mavic zoom i believe is the same as mavic pro/platinum. Therefore mpp2 will be better. And if the noise of the mpp2 is equal as the anafi, its definately a good buy( providing the price is not that sharp)

The rear feet seem to be part of the body now and cannot fall off any more.

i hope so.but the noise is envirable,unless we use jet replace propeller。

Yes thats true, but i find the noise of the spark and the ma a litlle bit annoying. The noise of platinum and parrot anafi much more softer
