My inspire already has a pilot cam in the front, but I'm thinking of installing an infrared camera, something similar to flare, but I am looking for a less expensive camera if possible. Any recommendations?

Are you looking for infra-red or thermal? Definitely not the same thing, but people confuse the two.
Both are useful from a UAV, but for very different purposes.

Mate, post a pic of your bird for reference.
I'm curious about your power set up for the 2nd (and maybe 3rd...) cameras.

I'd be a buyer of a camera like a FLIR with at least 640 resolution. Preferably as a second camera somehow so as to not lose the optical camera.

Yes, that new FLIR unit looks to be the business - but I reckon it would be difficult to get it integrated onto the Inspire.
Maybe that Matrix would be a better bet?

I just bought this system http://www.dslrpros.com/dslrpros ... rial-drone-kit.html .They and others told me it will not work on I1or on my V2+ .Something to do with frequencies .The camera only works on 2. something and the newer birds are 5.something  .Sorry I can not remember the exact frequencies they gave me . I am sure somebody will know what I am talking about .
