I have noticed some very small stress fractures on the main body of my p4p, where it meets the landing gear. I have booked my pfco course for next month and I am wondering If I will be allowed to use my p4p? As I said, they are very small and only visible on close inspection.

Hi there, I do apologize for the inconvenience and trouble caused. Could you please provide us a picture showing the cracks on your drone for us to determine the issue? Thanks.

Hi. Thank you for providing the pictures. Did it suffer from a hard landing or crashed? We highly suggest to send it to our repair facility to have a checkup.

No it has never crashed and only ever landed in the usual manner. The problem I face is that my pfco course is 19-20 of September

I would suspect that you will be fine, providing you repair the cracks in some way, as they seemed to eb confined to the landing gear. Always the bottom line, can your flight be conducted safely. IF you are concerned that you cannot fly safely, i.e. the leg might drop off do not do it. I used my 3pro for the first part of my PfCO. It has a few similar sized cracks to the engine cover area. I repaired them and put strengtheners on the bottom and all has been well for nearly two years now. If you are still uncertain ask the examiners before you go.
