My Inspire 2 does not stay in the same position. The Inspire shifts/turns on the yaw axis. So not the gimbal, but the Inspire 2 with the gimbal turns mostly to the left. I tried various things. I tried a refresh with DJI assistant, IMU and a compass calibration. None of those helped. Sometimes when i fly in a straight line, it turns a little bit each meter. This issue appears each flight a couple of times. I turns approximately between 5 and 15 degrees.

My setup:
Inspire 2 with X5S
Cendence + Crystalsky

Does someone experience the same issue, or knows what to do.

Hi. We apologize for the inconvenience. May I know what happened prior to this problem?

I have my Inspire 2 only for 2 months. It always acts like this. I tried different lenses, different places and circumstances (like no wind and with wind). I had a different Inspire 2 before this one (a long time ago) which did not did this. Mine P4P also does not do this. It stays rock solid in the air.

Can you try to downgrade the firmware using DJI Assistant 2?

This is a known problem with the current firmware, if you can provide Ken booth your flight logs he will submit to engineering. It has to do with the new fusion algorithm that is in the  latest firmware. With more data points they will hopefully have it resolved in the next upgrade.

So to fix the issue you will need to downgrade FW

I've the same problems.  shift/turns and unstable flights when using the latest firmware.  Mostly when flying close range to objects and with all vision sensors enabled.  I have the impression that the sensors gives a command to change the trajectory even when disabled.  This is very dangerous.

I have had the same problem. While stationary, it tends to yaw to the right. The last time a I was flying, did get a message to calibrate the vision system. I have not done that as of yet though.

Tom

I recalibrated the vision system and the yaw problem seems better but still have a real problem just trying to fly in a straight line. A short video of just moving the stick forward and the results.

Funny everyone is having this issue. I just returned my P4Pv2 to the place I bought it from after 6 months of dealing with this same issue. Sent my P4Pv2 in 2x for repair, one time they repaired the camera yaw motor and the next time they replaced the remote with a new one and the drone with a refurbished one. Neither fixed the issue.

I ended up getting the I2 to replace it. I had the exact same issue with the I2 as the P4Pv2. Sounds like DJI is having an issue with their firmware they still have not addressed after 6+ months.
