spent my weekend on my rib trying to film with Osmo original, although it went ok , with big swells a 120 mile round trip speeds of 44knts holding on with one hand on the Osmo and one hand on the grip, it’s  pretty hair raising, Travel from Enniscrone to Donegal Ireland. Great Fun, small excerpt from Mavic Air at the End.

"Swell" video!  Almost got seasick myself.  I understand a nice glass of stout will settle one's stomach. ;-)

Excellent video with great action, thank you very much! I am really impressed, how stable the Osmo footage is under such conditions.

Couldn't tell from video, but always wear a Lifejacket that will put you face up and support your head above water.  Some Lifejackets aren't...

At 50-MPH, if boat were to hit something semi-submerged, and a person got thrown from boat, hitting water is almost like hitting hard ground.

Cool hand held shots Hallmark, what do you have on your Osmo to film with? Looks extremely stable to me

I started using the small car rig, because I was piloting one of the boats, but kept tilting on me, so left the piloting to one of the others and just tried it by hand, it seemed to do pretty well even at 44knts (51mph), it was difficult with rain and wind and trying to hold on, but got the job done.

Equivalent to 110mph over land, all the guys are well equipped and SAR volunteers ,

All-crewfit-180n-pro-automatic-harness-lifejacket with spray hoods, funny enough Ireland has some odd rules regarding life jackets , boats over 8 metres are only required to carry on board life jackets for passengers , passengers are not required to wear them, I know ridiculous, however we require all passengers to wear them. One of the boats is 8.6 metre and other 7.4 metre.

Thank you, yes I should use Osmo more often, have been thinking about a ronin s , I have a gh5 which seems to work really well with gh5, but for the moment I’ll stick with the Osmo .

Yeah, I was trying to get some aerial footage, but twice up in the air had to abandon because of rain, but some more to come soon.

Auto Inflation with CO2 cartridge?
Looks like this once inflated???

Sorry for slight side track.  It's a SCUBA thing.

Had B.C. with Manual oral Inflate, Button pressure Inflate, and CO2 EM inflate, along with Rip-cord ballast dump.  Custom tank strap system to hold a fat-tank and 14-cuft bailout bottle.

That’s the brand we use, just also comes with spray hood, stops water splashing your face. Their great lightweight jackets.

I know that feeling.
Was waiting for a train that was late in Billingsfors when I saw a single cloud coming....
Guess what.
The only rain of that day had to be just when the train arrived.
I did put the MP up btw.
Will be a long time before I get a second chance.
It did great btw.

I am seriously thrilled to buy an Osmo 2 but not sure yet that I shall have sufficient occasions to actually use it. But one thing after the other, first my budget has to survive coming Thursday 23... Still a bit puzzled, we shall see...
P.S. I have released a new (rather unusual) video too and invite you for constructive criticism ;-)

It’s amazing, I’ve had a couple of nice comments on old videos I’ve posted, but I haven’t a clue where they are, I’m not getting used to this at all , lol

It's all a bit hit and miss I'm just clicking random sections and seeing what's there. It's so disorganised it's almost fun!
