I recently bought a Ronin-s to use with a NIKON D850 and sadly can only use it as a basic gimbal as i shoot video in manual. The D850 only works in PC mode when tethered to the Ronin-s - it is only possible to use most of the Ronin-S functionality in all auto mode!! ( someone please tell me i am wrong) This is a nightmare as to shoot video / panoramic stills etc etc you need complete manual control. I have the latest firmware installed for both the Ronin-s and and the D850 but sadly most the the functionality is bricked as the camera enters PC mode and i can't adjust any settings on the camera and the display has no info. BUMMER. I am hoping for a firmware upday but not holding my breath! Wondering how the Ronin-s performs with the GH5 / GH5s can you manualy adjust all of the camera when tethered and use all of the camera modes and naturally all of the Ronin-s functions? Thanks.
