has anyone managed to solve these two limitations.?
A - I would like to still able to control the cameras settings while synced with the Ronin S. Its annoying to have to remove the cable any time I want to adjust settings such as iso, apaeeture etc.
B - The focus wheel works, but there is a step between focus depths, rather than a nice smooth pull. It makes doing focus pulls unusable as the jittery step is very visable.
A - Same , I turn the gimbal off then adjust, just as annoying B - Have you upgraded to the latest firmware? I've noticed focus pulling got smoother with the latest update.
Did you manage solving this problem? I tried the Ronin S yesterday with a Nikon D850 and differents prime lenses (Nikon and Sigma art), and had the same problem with every ones... Cant' find anything about this on the net -but your post.
I have the same set up. Your problem A is resolved when you update to the newest firmware. As for problem B, there is no answer to smooth focusing at this time.
