I thought there was no difference between the RE and original DJI Goggles, except if you wanted to FPV race drones or anything Analog 5.8 GHz, then the RE Edition was expected to replace the need for someone flying both, DJI and Race Quads, in needing to require two separate pairs of FPV goggles?
As in my case, I fly DJI and FPV race quads and RC planes. I purchased FatShark Dominator V3's and now I'm interested in an FPV experience using the DJI Goggles. I purchased the FatShark's thinking the DJI Goggles weren't as comfortable and that I could just buy both pairs for approx. the same price as the RE Edition. This purchasing theory with the release of the Mavic 2 is now debunked?
What is the difference between Analog video and OcuSync? Isn't Analog video not digital but just a live video broadcast at a much lower latency and resolution than high definition presumably from OcuSync? The OcuSync 1 in the Goggles is not switching betwen 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz because it doesn't have 5.8Ghz band built inside? However, Lightbridge technology does switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz that uses an enhanced WiFi signal to broadcast? But OcuSync utilizes its own frequencies, where there wasn't as much residual usage nor common interference? Although if the Analog is cast over 5.8GHz, how does OcuSync 2.0 now utilize this Analog frequency - to broadcast FHD? Does OcuSync 2 have 5.8GHz built inside and it can switch between OcuSync 1's digital only frequencies with Analog 5.8GHz to still throw out a FHD picture?
What am I missing? |
